About Adam
ADAM BARR is a veteran narrator of more than 200 audiobooks over a wide range of genres. He is an actor and singer with a lively and firmly grounded baritone voice. He's also a lifelong lover of books, reading and storytelling. His studies with prominent audiobook veterans Johnny Heller and Shannon Parks have helped him focus on well-crafted characters rather than just bare words on the page.

Adam brings a broad palette of experience to storytelling. He's a former lawyer, television sports reporter, sports executive, and print journalist. It has been Adam's good fortune to travel from courtrooms to board rooms to bar rooms from Tokyo to Toronto, Melbourne to Milwaukee, Los Angeles to London and beyond – and to observe the world’s most engaging characters in every place.
“The canny traveler doesn’t just visit a destination. He lives there, be it for days or months,” Adam says. “It’s no different for a perceptive actor and the characters he inhabits.”

Adam lives in Philadelphia, where he rows on the Schuylkill River whenever he can and creates glorious messes in the kitchen when he can't.
